Charli XCX Embraces a Twisted Persona of Her Own Identity in Fictional Documentary First Look
The celebrated musician is preparing for a significant big screen presence in 2026, starting with the satirical film titled The Moment.
In the film, she portrays what she calls as a twisted version of herself.
Itโs the truest representation of the entertainment world that Iโve ever encountered, the performer stated.
She clarified in a conversation: Itโs not a tour documentary, however the inspiration came from the expectation to produce one.
A Sneak Peek into The Project
The first teaser, launched on Thursday, combines actual recordings from her recent tour with made-up off-stage interactions.
The film is directed and co-written by Aidan Zamiri, who shared that the plot centers on a scenario where Charli made entirely different choices during the marketing of her hugely successful record Brat.

She recently agreed to appear in Dakota Johnsonโs maiden directing project A Tree in Blue.
